Night of Chances KOSICE – The Innovlab team and SAP Colleagues as a part of the first online

We couldn't miss such a great opportunity for an online event called Night of Chances Košice 2020, which was organized on the 3rd of June 2020 for more than 300 students. Our colleagues from the Innovlab team, Milan Varga, Andrea Lovacka, and Alica Narozna Gold presented a very interesting theme called Create your Own STARTUP. In the other corner colleagues from SAP unit Adela Solarova, Julius Kacmar and Matus Lukac introduced SAP operation and Solution delivery possibilities. Let's read more in the article about the Innovlab and SAP presented topics.

About Innovlab

Our Innovlab journey started in 2019 and we become the first STARTUP center of Deutche Telekom IT Solution Slovakia. We are focusing on the latest Trends and Technologies in areas of Telco (5G, IoT, VR / AR, Ux) and Health (Digital Health, Biotech, Medtech, LifeTech). Our main pillars are built on cooperation with EIT Health and Hub:Raum. Our main goal is to give IT meaning by finding innovative solutions via the interconnection of startups, the local ecosystem, and our B2B partners. This T-System's supportive initiative is linked by the cooperation of our partner's network like AHK Slowakei, AmCham AI, Digital Slovakia, ITAS, which has resulted in many organized events such as Hackathons, Innovations days and more…

Why we do this

We would like to encourage young and talented people to find new ideas and help them bring those ideas into life. Our unique and innovative approach, technological support, and investment opportunities will push such new startups on the top of the market and to future customers. For our B2B partners, we deliver the best startups and together we co-create solutions that bring an added value in IT meaning and create new business opportunities for all involved parties.

We also put our efforts into building startups and ecosystems in the region and those efforts are starting to pay off as some of the startups were already highly awarded on the events like Innovation DAY 2019 in Paris, VIA BONA 2018, or become IT Product of the Year 2019.

Night of Chances

We contributed with an online workshop named Create your Own Startup. Milan Varga, a Lead of Innovlab presented how to build Business Model Canvas, with practical usage and examples from business. We would like to thanks the audience for many questions especially to students for such amazing positive feedback. This makes us happy that the presentation turned up as very interesting for the audience and we hope that next time we could present much more and bring also more for future startups.

"Last Wednesday was exciting as it was my first YouTube streamed workshop and I enjoyed it. Plus, this wouldn't be possible without the support of my colleagues, so my big Thanks go to Andrea and Alica, great job! and to students too for giving interesting questions during the online workshop. If you are interested you can watch it again at the end of this article": expressed Milan Varga, Lead of Innovlab

SAP CORNER

Colleagues from SAP Unit carried on in their corner with a presentation about SAP technical positions and its explanation.  Focusing on real-life in SAP they spoke about challenges and what knowledge you can gain while working in a specific position.

"I am very impressed by the student's interest. They asked many technical questions that brought a very fruitful and professional discussion at the end. Thank you for the opportunity to be there." Adela Solarova, Head of SAP EMEA Department

"I am glad to be part of the team in the online event. We get very good support from our stand owner, who was taking care of our communication. I also appreciate that our HR department joints us. They started with small talk that has fluently moved to a deeper technical discussion. A very good experience. Thank you." Matus Lukac, Head of SAP Solution Delivery 1 Team

"I see that such events can become future platforms for online fairs. It was a great opportunity to present my daily work and gave away some of the accomplished knowledge. I am very thankful for the interest of students and our nice discussion." Julius Kacmar, Head of Customer Ops 1 Team
